This sneak peek, tied to a promotional push for her official merchandise store, encourages fans to secure their copies in advance. The brief audio snippet showcases Scott’s recognizable vocal stylings.

Despite “Cowboy Carter” being rooted in country music, this particular track with Scott leans heavily into a synthesized hip-hop vibe.

Album Artwork and Inspiration

On March 19, Beyoncé revealed the album’s artwork, which depicts her atop a horse, donned in a patriotic ensemble of red, white, and blue, clutching an American flag.

In an accompanying message, Beyoncé expressed her gratitude and shared insights on the album’s journey.

“As we countdown the final 10 days to the release of act ii, my heart is filled with gratitude for everyone who supported ‘TEXAS HOLD ‘EM’ and ’16 CARRIAGES.’ Achieving the milestone of being the first Black woman to top the Hot Country Songs chart was made possible by your overwhelming support,”

Overcoming Challenges

Beyoncé reflected on how music bridges people globally and amplifies vital voices in our musical legacy. Facing challenges and criticism upon venturing into country music spurred Beyoncé to push beyond perceived boundaries. “Act ii is my testament to overcoming these hurdles, patiently weaving together different genres to craft this album,” she remarked.

Collaborations and Expectations

She hinted at unexpected collaborations within the album, expressing, “I’ve worked with incredible artists whom I hold in high regard. My hope is that you can feel the love, soul, and dedication that went into every aspect of this album.”
